Welcome
to the Long Beach Petroleum Club
The Long Beach Petroleum Club was founded
in 1953 as Long Beach’s premier social club. Although
its origins were in the region’s oil industry, today,
its diverse membership encompasses a broad spectrum of business,
professional, charitable, and community organizations, individuals,
and families.
The Long Beach Petroleum Club now serves as a focal point
of social and recreational life with its dining facilities,
Olympic pool, Monday night football, family nights, card clubs,
dinner dances, holiday parties, golf tournaments, and special
events. The club also serves the business community with its
conference facilities for meetings, presentations, company
parties, and community networking events.
The club offers lunch daily between 11:30
a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Lunch service includes
a daily buffet of homemade soups, salads, and entrees for
a quick lunch or corporate event, as well as a full menu of
salads, sandwiches, and entrees.
Dinner is served between 5:00 p.m. and 8:30
p.m. Wednesday through Friday, with dining options at the
casual Bar and Grill or formal dining in the Red Room. On
the first and third Sunday of each month, the club prepares
an elaborate buffet dinner between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., providing
an ideal opportunity for family get-togethers.
During the summer pool season, which begins
Memorial Day weekend and concludes Labor Day weekend, the
club offers daily poolside food and beverage service, including
poolside barbecues, nighttime swim and movie events, and swimming
instructions.
Membership with the Long Beach Petroleum Club offers a level
of convenience and service unparalleled in the community. |
